The Columbia Basin Jazz Orchestra is gearing up for it’s anuual “Big Band Christmas” concert on Saturday, December 15th! The show starts with a set of great non-holiday charts from some of today’s hottest writers, followed by a second set of Christmas jazz pieces picked specifically for this concert. The tunes are holiday favorites that you’re sure to recognize – they’ve just been re-arranged for an 18-piece big band.

Tickets are $15 for Adults, $10 for Seniors and Students, and can be purchased at Columbia Basin College (Arts & Humanities Office) in Pasco, Ted Brown Music in Richland, or at the door. The show is at Gregson Auditorium (Pasco HS), and the show starts at 8 P.M. I will be playing in a quintet that opens the show around 7:30 PM (while people are taking their seats). Please come out and support this group, as they schedule has been hectic and a lot of practice has been put into this concert. Hope to see you there!
